Chinese Mandarin is the official language but the Guilin local dialect is widely used. As Guangxi Region(province) is the homeland of Zhuang Ethnic Group which is the largest minority group in China the Zhuang dialect is spoken by Zhuang People. Zhuang dialect had only written form.
