Gongcheng County will host the 8th Gongcheng Persimmon Festival from 29 Oct to 6 Nov, 2011. This year the festival's theme is "Ecologic Gongcheng and Happy Persimmon Festival".

During the 9 days there will be 9 different events such as opening ceremony, persimmon selection event, calligraphy show and etc.

Linguilin County of Guilin City will host 2011 International Wetlands Culture Festival. The festival will start on 5th November and end on 7th November.

During the festival there will be many events: opening ceremony, International Wetlands Summit Forum, local ethnic groups' parade and show and ending ceremony.

Lingui County is situated in the northeast of Guangxi and west of Guilin. The county has more than 2100 years' history. The Huixian Wetlands is in the county covering 12km square. It is known as the Kidney of Guilin.

From September 23 to 25 of 2011, Seven Star Scenic Area will host Guilin's Music Festival in Chinese History Square. During the 3 nights, visitors will enjoy a great selection of music.

From 20 September to 20 October 2011 Reed Flute Cave scenic area will hold the first tea culture activity. Visitors can enjoy local tea and watch the Chinese tea show etc.

From 1st to 3rd of October 2011 visitors who was born on 1st Oct or whose name include "Guoqing" can enter the scenic area for free of charge.

Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner. Solitary Beauty Peak & Prince City will host Zhuangyuan culture theme event on 12th Sept 2011.

Zhuangyuan is the champion of the governor selection exam in the Chinese history.On the day all of the visitors can join the event. Tour guide will tell the knowledge and background of the exam. Visitors will experience the exam and top visitors will have mooncake as gift.

Sept 12 (Aug 15 in Lunar Calendar) is 2011's Mid-Autumn Festival for Chinese families to get together. This year in the Dragon Backbone's Rice Terraces there will be a fire touch show, mooncake tasting and Yao People' fest on the Mid-Autumn Festival day.

The 3rd Xing'an Grape Festival will be held from August 20 to 31, 2011 in Xing'an County of Guilin City.

The grape festival will last 12 days with 15 events. During the festival visitors can visit the local grape farm and taste the different kinds of grape from all over the world.

The 4th International Public Rafting Festival(August 11- 14, 2011)

From August 11th to 14th the 4th International Public Rafting Festival will be held in Ziyuan County of Guilin City.

This year from July 23rd to 25th Yao people from all over the world will gather in Jiubanqiao Village of Gongcheng County to celebrate the 11th Yao People's Aunat Wang Festival. It is said that long time ago Aunt Wang was the wife of King Pan. She always helped Yao People in Guangxi and Hunan area. In order to thank her Yao People have been worshiping her for hundreds of years.

2011 Guangyang Pears & Plums Festival will be held in Guanyang county from July 6 to 28 in 2011. Guanyang is well-known as "hometown of black plums and white pears". The fruit garden opening ceremony will be held from 09:00-10:30 on July 6th. In the following days there are different kinds of events for tourists to attend. Guanyang people welcome you!
