Gongcheng County will host the 8th Gongcheng Persimmon Festival from 29 Oct to 6 Nov, 2011. This year the festival's theme is "Ecologic Gongcheng and Happy Persimmon Festival". During the 9 days there will be 9 different events such as opening ceremony, persimmon selection event, calligraphy show and etc.
