The 5th Guilin Rice Noodles Festival Had a Grand Opening PDF Print E-mail

The 5th Guilin Rice Noodles Festival is being held in Xing'an County from the 9th to the 12th this month. Famous Chinese singers gave the audiences a wonderful show.

The famous ancient water project Linqu Canal which was built by the soldiers in Qing Dynasty(200BC) is located in Xing'an. The soldiers also brought the northern China's food customs into Guilin and created Guilin Rice Noodles.

If you have enough time for a trip to Xing'an, have a look at the Linqu Canal and have a bowl of Guilin Rice Noodles.

Summer holiday is around the corner. From June 4th, 2011 China Eastern Airlines will add one more flight for Guilin-Shanghai route and Guilin-Hangzhou route.

From the day forward, every day there will be 9 flights between Guilin and Shanghai route and 3 flights between Guilin and Hangzhou route. It will be more convenient for the tourists from eastern part of China to visit Guilin.

The Impression Sanjie Liu is awarded China's Well-Known Trademark by the State Administration for Industry & Commerce of China.

The Impression Sanjie Liu is world's largest scale performance performed on Li River with Guilin's Karst mountain as background. One director of the show is Zhang Yimou who directed Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

Guilin - Beihai - Guiyang Flight Route Launch PDF Print E-mail

A new flight route of Guilin - Beihai - Guiyang will be launched from June 1st, 2011. Beihai is one of the most important tourist cities in Guangxi Region and Guiyang is the capital city of Guizhou Province.

The flight number is G52647/8 operated by China Express Air with its 50-seater-aircraft CRJ-200. The flight departs from Guilin at 17:55 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and at 20:05 on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
